Comments: I caught my toenail (already threatening to come off) on someone as I swam to the start, and I could feel it fluttering and pulling while I was kicking. Very icky. But this was actually a faster swim than last year, even though I have swum twice since Fingerlakes in September. What would you do differently?: Train more Transition 1
Comments: Had to take a little extra time to pull off the toenail- fortunately it was just attached by a little bit of cuticle. Bike
Comments: My cycle computer wasn't picking up the wheel so I had no idea how fast I was going. I feel pretty good about this bike- very similar time to last year, but more left for the run. Had a gel about 15 minutes into the bike. Drank 1 bottle of water. I'm definately more comfortable going aero, which helps also. What would you do differently?: Train more Transition 2

Comments: I didn't have my Garmin so I didn't know my pace- i think it worked out ok though- I'm very happy with this, especially given that I haven't been training much (especially intervals). What would you do differently?: Train more, but I'm happy with this. And lose 5 pounds! Post race

Woke up at 6 am, had coffee and an english muffin with peanut butter and honey, went with my husband, FIL, his GF to the race. Met up with T and K there.
Walking around- very warm even in the morning. Had a banana at 8, and a gel and 8:30, and drank water.
