Comments: Probably paced too fast or not enough nutrition at the end. I really feel off after mile 10 but felt great at mile 8. I wanted to improve my time so I set out for 8:30 goal pace. Kept it up til mile 10 then my lack of training probably caught up with me. Got a HM pr by 1 minute but was hoping for better. What would you do differently?: I also should have taken more energy or gel along the way. Post race
Warm down: Walked to get some pizza and a few sips of beer. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not sticking to training plan and once again underestimating nutrition execution. Drove to the race site myself. More parking than I thought there would be. Got there about 30 mins before the start. Had a powerbar and some gatorade before the start.
