Pre-race routine:

Drove to the race site myself. More parking than I thought there would be. Got there about 30 mins before the start. Had a powerbar and some gatorade before the start.

Comments:

Probably paced too fast or not enough nutrition at the end. I really feel off after mile 10 but felt great at mile 8. I wanted to improve my time so I set out for 8:30 goal pace. Kept it up til mile 10 then my lack of training probably caught up with me. Got a HM pr by 1 minute but was hoping for better.
What would you do differently?:

I also should have taken more energy or gel along the way.

Warm down:

Walked to get some pizza and a few sips of beer.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not sticking to training plan and once again underestimating nutrition execution. Work schedule threw me off track about half way through the plan and never was able to get back on focus.
