Comments: Overall, I'm happy with how I did in my first indoor TT. The two guys that beat me in my division are pros, and one went sub 9:30 at Kona last year. I was gunning for around 335 watts, but ended up with 343 watts and a w/kg of 4.49. My pacing was good, but I didn't feel dead at the end. I'm doing another similar TT in March, and my goal is 350 watts. What would you do differently?: The numbers on my PT were a tiny bit lower than the computrainer, but I just went by my numbers that I've been training with. Looking back I probably could have gone out a little harder and ended up closer to 350 watts. Post race
Warm down: About half a mile cool down, and at that point people in my heat started finishing. Grabed some powerbar food and drinks and hung around to watch Chad's heat. What limited your ability to perform faster: The temp at Landry's was 70 with no fans. My basement is around 62 with two big fans - as a result people were sweating a ton, including me. Event comments: 6th place overall with some pretty big name local pros is a good result. Next year I'm gunning for top spot! Last updated: 2011-01-02 12:00 AM

Arrived about 45 min before my 10:40 heat. Weighed in and then watched part of an earlier heat with Colin.
Spent about 20 min warming up on the trainer - legs felt pretty good.
