Event comments:

This is my favorite race in Richmond. I hate to say it but the swim is too easy now. For a sprint the bike is longer than normal and has a big hill and the run is challenging due to the trail running but the swim is too short and should have some upriving portion to make it more difficult. In its original format it was more of a gap filler between a standard spring and an olympic distance race. I still love it though and will continue to do it every year I can.
