Comments: first 2 miles was numb. I definitely need more calories during the bike to sustain me for the run. around mile 2-3 just felt completely out of any reserves. got in a couple of gatorade's for the last 2 miles which really helped. need to up the consumption of powerade prior. What would you do differently?: see above comments Post race
Warm down: walked around What limited your ability to perform faster: lack of calories i think Event comments: this really is a great race. would like to see better post race protein options for eating. the ice cream was great, but peanut butter just doesn't cut it. would love pizza actually or chicken sandwiches or something, but that's my preference.
