Comments: Ran up to the bridge (roughly 2 miles) then walked up to the top of the bridge because my right calf was cramping really bad and then my ankle started hurting. Honestly I knew the bridge would be rough. I thought I'd have some major problems with my shins but it ended up being my calf which was weird but oh well. Then I ran from right before the 3 mile marker to the water station after the 4 mile marker. Then alternated running with short (30sec to 1 min) walk breaks until the end. Post race
Warm down: Walked over to see my parents and my fiance. We walked around Marion Square and got some snacks and water then went to take showers and then to meet friends for lunch and show off my ring :) What limited your ability to perform faster: Need more hill training and longer runs. Got up at 6. Ate a Luna bar and some fruit and left for the race.
Walked 20 minutes from where Dad dropped us off to the start and then stretched.
