I mounted good and got going, but then my chain fell off about a 1/2 block in.
What would you do differently?:

Not sure. When shifting to the big ring right away, maybe shift slower? (Shouldn't have to.) However, I have started in the big ring in other races and should have just done that.

Gear changes could be GOOD, but put as average due to the chain falling off at beginning of bike section. Otherwise, there weren't many changes. Left it in the big ring after the first block of riding (after I stopped and put the chain back on).

Not sure there is anything. I came into T2 huffing and puffing trying to keep a nice gap on the chasers. I was first out on the run course, but was caught by two.
