Pre-race routine:

Arrived early and just sat in my car for a little while just to relax and drank my Fuzion and some water. I then did my warm-up and went back to my car for water and continued to that for a while until close to race time. Finally I ate my protein bar, had some more water, final bathroom break and lined up for the start.
Event warmup:

Warm-up: walking and slow jog for about 15-20 minutes then some stretching.

Comments:

Walked one too many times. I should have been able to walk less but it's my first race of the year and I only trained for two weeks.
What would you do differently?:

Train more. My time will only get better.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around, drank some orange juice, had half a bagel with peanut butter while continuing to walk and stretch.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not enough training.

Event comments:

I enjoyed the race and the volunteers were very nice. Many of the sponsors were also there and were nice to talk to. Looking forward to tomorrows bike ride.
