I am not a very strong cyclist, so I was thrilled with this. The last 10-15 miles very uncomfortable - I really, really wanted to get off my bike!

The run was a survival contest. It took me a few miles to loosen up, but overall I got into a decent rhythym. Very happy with approx 8 min miles after the first 2 segments of a half.

Maybe do a few bricks

This is a great venue and a great race. I loved the individual numbers on the bike racks. This is a great place to try a first half iron. I had no idea what to expect - thrilled with a 5:17 for my first one.
