I really liked this swim. Caught an awesome draft going out fast in the top couple of my wave and held it the whole first lap. Passed lots of people and held my lines and had a great swim overall.

Decent run for me. Stuck to my paces for the first couple miles and dropped off a bit more than I wanted but I pushed hard and felt like I put out a decent effort.

Event comments:

Not really sold on Final Stretch. When they computed bike splits wrong on the results (not a big deal) their official timer responded to an email to me saying, "they seem about right to me given other bike races I've timed, if you have a reason that you think they are wrong then let me know..." Well, they were all 1.2mph off and "about right" just doesn't cut it for me if the person saying it is responsible for accurate timing of an event. Of course I sent a response explaining how to compute d = r*t and solving for r with all conversions included. I never received a reply or thank you for letting them know, but the results were corrected shortly after... ;-)
