She said she would have pushed it a little harder and started closer to the front.

My "official" time was 52:52 due to the 2 min penalty I received. Lesson learned: be sure to drop out of drafting zone when someone passes me. Got hit with a 2 min penalty for "overtaken". I immediatley re-passed after being passed. To my defense, the guy passed me then slowed down in front of me - so I re-passed.
What would you do differently?:

Found myself in too high of gear with a low cadence. Need to watch my gearing better.

Had to give Rachel a shout out as I was approaching the rack. She had her ear buds in and was playing a game on her I-pod. I guess she didn't expect me back so soon.....

She felt much better and more comfortable with the run. The only one in the relay groups to have a negative split.

Overall it was a good race. The weather was on the chilly side but all in all it was a fun time. It was a great father/daughter experience.
