Pre-race routine:

Drive to Kenosha with gal pals Michele and Amy Jo. Water and poptarts for the road.
Event warmup:

Standing in line for what turned out to be the nicest port-o-john I have ever been in. Shivering a bit but the sun was out here and there.

Comments:

This race was a birthday present to Michele so we could spend a couple of hours together. Amy Jo joined us for the fun. We followed the 4:1 plan and it worked pretty nice. Felt like I could've run the marathon. Legs felt great after not running for a week due to foot issues. Sun eventually disappeared so we were pretty cold by the end.
Post race
Warm down:

Got our really cool medals and stood in line for our brat (served in a pita) and beer. Too cold to drink the beer.

Event comments:

Will definately do this one again. Thinking I could get a PR on this course.
