Comments:

The start was pretty packed and didn't thin out for the first 1/4 to 1/2 mile. I also was focusing on not going out to hard, in the past I went out fast and the 2nd mile was to slow to allow me to break 30 minutes. This time I improved my time at each split but still missed the 30 minute mark. I'll get there though, maybe the next 5K.

Warm down:

Walked to car, and when I got home snow blowed the driveway.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Still working to lose weight, and get faster but right now I am focused on building base for HIM in July.

Event comments:

Thought this was a great race for the first time holding it. Was well run and fun to participate in.
