Comments:

I have not been running much, but thought this would be a good long run before the El Schorcho 50k in July. Held 9-minute miles until about 16-miles, then began to slow down. Walked aid stations from that point on. Didn't bring any gels, and the sports drink they provided seemed very weak. Overall, this is a nice, small marathon and a great course. Course is moderately hilly, with varied terrain and a number of surface types.
What would you do differently?:

Bring my own gels for races unless I'm sure aid stations will be stocked.
Post race
Warm down:

Picked up finisher shirt and medal, then headed to New Sagaya for lunch with the family.

Event comments:

Good race. Very nice course. Not a lot of crowd support. Aid Stations about every 2-miles.
