Pre-race routine:

Had a muscle milk light and clif bar and quite a bit of water. Got down there early, parked at finish and walked to the start.

Start with the 7:00/mile group. Lost time during first mile dodging people who were much slower than their starting position.

Negotiating through slower runner traffic.

Event comments:

The Rodeo Run has grown large enough that they might consider wave starts. Overall a great race, I'll be back.
