PB&J at 5:00 and sip on Heed till race start. Also had a Gel right before the start.

Good swim for me. Started just off shore. made it out to the first bouy with no problem and the rest of the race just followed the bouy's along the shore. Great first open water swim this year.

Happy with bike overall. The road out of the park is rough but once i got out of the park I was able to hit it hard. Passed a bunch of people and just kept it going the whole time on the bike. Very happy with effort and speed for this race.

Run was right where I wanted it at. I was able to negative split the run. Pacing was right on for me. I was able to just hit my pace and not look back. Overall very happy with the run.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe move the overall pace down a bit.

Felt great. I was right on my targets for this race.

Event comments:

Great race and and great cause. I will be back next year. First race on my way to IM Florida.
