Comments: Should have taken some water at the 1.5 mile bcuz mouth was really dry. Did not take water since I have not taken water in the last 2 mnths of training and was afraid I would cramp. 1 mile - 9:51min 2 mile - 10:25 (20:16) 3 mile - 12:17 (32:33) walked twice for a total of 3:20min on last mile. 3.1 mile - 1:07 (33:41) What would you do differently?: Drink the water and the water station. Post race
Warm down: Walked and drank the water until I could finally breath normall. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not much, I have been training for 2 months and only ran 3 miles 3 times, which was a run walk the last mile. Next 5k is March 26 and I hope by then I will be running the full 3 miles. Event comments: I wish they would have posted the race results. 5K race was over by 9am and I had to wait until about 10:30am to find out I finished 3rd in my age group and after I found out I had to leave. Woke up at 5:30am had 3 shots of espresso and 1 banana. Left house about 6:15am and arrived at the race at 7:20am
Stretch and fast walked about 20min. Took at Cliff Gel (not that bad).
