Timing mat 1-200 yards from transition. Running barefoot on gravel and asphalt. Poor arrangement on race management's part.
What would you do differently?:

Go easy finishing swim to prepare for the long run to T1. Swim in top/procure 1-piece.

Warm down:

Water, sugars, food, pack and drive. Walked and stretched.

Event comments:

Good to go back to the alma mater. Post race drink supplies were questionable, event staff didn't seem to give the same attention/consideration to those finishing in the BOP third as to those in the front (who paid the same event fee). Breakdown was already in progress as the BOP folks were finishing (not the last 5 in, but like the last 50 people in)
