Comments: I had no idea what my pace should be because it's been years since I've run a stand alone marathon. speed tests said I should be running 3:17 but endurance (13.1m) tests said I should be running closer to 3:40. Went out and just tried to hang onto a pace that I was fairly certain was just a tad too fast....I was right. Ugh. rain entire race, downpour began last 3 miles. hip flexors began to fatigue about mile 18. race sucked @ss from then one..esp mile 24 and 25. It was a PR since 2004 so I'll take it. I was much younger in 2004..ha ha ha. What would you do differently?: increase hip flexor endurance and power. Post race
