Comments: Lots of bumping. Staging of swimmers by their abilities was terrible. I ran over 3 and 4 ran over me. But we all made it. Transition 1
Comments: Had to run about 75yds to the transition area. Once there, all was great until I started running with bike. The mounting pedal kept turning. I'd fix it back and it would do it again. By the time I tried to mount it was not in the right spot. This cost me about 15 seconds. Bike
Comments: I finished quicker than I'd practiced. Very difficult to do this course competitively on a mountain bike. What would you do differently?: Not use a mountain bike. Drink more. Transition 2
Comments: No problems whatsoever. I was positioned at the opposite end of bike entrance so I had a ways to run to my transition area. Nice thing was I was on the very end of the rack and close to the run exit. What would you do differently?: Nothing... Run
Comments: Slower than my practice time. Right leg hamstring muscle cramped badly about mile 2.5. Struggled for a bit but regained my speed and ran strong at the end. Grabbed a drink at each water station but still not enough liquids. What would you do differently?: Drink more on my bike ride to help prepare for my run cramping. Post race

Normal pre-workout breakfast. Ate a Gold Bar about 1 hour before start. Didn't drink a lot of water, but a little with Bioplasma.
