Awesome Swim for me. :) I was done with 200 meters before I knew I was even ready to start swimming. The way back was a bit tougher, as I am a unilateral breather to the right, and that is where the chop was coming from. It was the first time I ever heard a race director say, "here is the first group of men off of the swim course." Sounded good.

Getting VFF on took a bit longer than regular shoes, but overall ok. VFF's felt like they had wooden planks in them for the first 1/4 mile. Soon realized those were my cold numb feet. ;)
