Comments: Wore both Pat Straps and knees felt great. Maintained a sub 9 min/mile pace for about 7 miles. Slowed a lot around mile 9. Never felt like I wanted to stop. Took my time and finished strong. Very happy with my first Half-Marathon. Praise God! What would you do differently?: Start training earlier and work on my distance. Post race
Warm down: Quads and Hamstrings cramped a little after race. Stretched and sat down a while after I ate. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not enough training. Event comments: Other than the screw up on the course, this race was awesome. I didn't agree with the official time. My GPS watch was actually a little quicker time....about 1 minute.
