Swim
Comments: Started off a bit to fast, but did pass some slower people to be able to swim alone more comfortable. What would you do differently?: I would have evened out my pace to make sure I wasn't so tired towards the end. Transition 1
Comments: Transition was super slow. Next time I will have a tri suit on and not have to change all my clothes. Really slowed me down and made it hard to get riding gear on. What would you do differently?: Get a Tri suit to wear. Bike
Comments: The ride went pretty good. It was really cold so my legs were pretty tight the entire ride. But I was able to push the pace and really get into a good pace and keep it once I did a full lap. What would you do differently?: I would try to push the pace a bit more in the middle and try to get into a relaxed pace a little earlier on the bike. Transition 2
Comments: It was bad not really sure what i wanted to do because I had to run a long ways with the bike. Tried to get shoes off to run bare foot but could not get them off because I didn't unsnap them all the way. Had to take a breath and relax. Once they were off it was ok. Getting running gear on went pretty good. What would you do differently?: Take shoes off sooner and be better prepared. Run
Comments: Had to throw up the pool water I drank during the swim... Once I did that I was great. Ran a good pace and felt really comfortable. What would you do differently?: I would push the pace a lot more and really let it out during the run. Didn't even get up to pace till after the first mile. Post race
Warm down: Walked around and stretched with coaches. What limited your ability to perform faster: The Cold really took it's tole on me. Warmer weather with really help. Event comments: Everything went really smooth. I was really happy with the event. They were on time and made it fun. Got there and hour and a half early. Set up transition. Ate a power bar and water.
Did some stretching and some small sprints to warm up.Once in the pool I did some short fast strokes to warm my arms up and tried to stay moving in the water.
