Run
Comments: A decent first and second run, times showed that I'd lost 12 lb since start of March. Not convinced this was 3 miles long, and messed up my Garmin by not using Multisport function so can't be sure. I heard more like 2.8 so I based time off that distance. Run 1 T1 Bike T2 Run 2 Total Time 0:19:43 0:00:40 1:00:21 0:00:26 0:20:27 1:41:37 What would you do differently?: Not much. Transition 1
Comments: Probably could have saved a few seconds if I'd had my shades in helmet and not had to search for them on ground. T1 : 40 T2 : 26 Bike
Comments: Very windy loops, was passed by a few, passed a few. Felt weak at start of bike took a couple of miles for legs to get going. Probably pushed a bit hard on my inititial run. Post race
Event comments: Overall PR'd for a 3 mile run even if it was 2.8, pace close to 7" is my best run and happy with Run 2 also. Bike not as good as I'd want it, goal was to average 21 but no conditions were windy and rough for everyone. Good race, no frills, only downside was long cycle to bathroom. At least the men could go and pee near a tree, the ladies had to drop trou just before the race. A better placed transition would have avoided that. Last updated: 2011-02-25 12:00 AM

Coffee, bagel, nutella, clearout. Standard MO for 7 AM.
Arrived at massive car park in Ocean Beach, racked, cycled to bathrooms, back and after transition prep did a couple of laps of park at gentle pace.
