What would you do differently?:

Don't remove gloves in transition, or don't wear them to begin with.

Blech. That hill on the park road - I didn't even notice it was a hill on the run down...but coming back - holy cow! It looked like a mountain to my tired eyes.
What would you do differently?:

Run lots more and for longer distances in training.

Warm down:

Getting into a warm car and blasting the heater.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Wind and rain were a challenge. I think my overall training needs to improve - particularly the runs.

Event comments:

It was cold and miserable out, so we didn't stay long post-race. I think everyone was eager to get somewhere warm.
