Pre-race routine:

I knew this would be fun and I was taking it easy, so I didn't have too much of a routine! I got my son set up for the Jr. Tri. Had oatmeal and fruit for breakfast @ about 6:30 a.m.

It was so crowded it was tough to swim and imposstible to pass. I had taken the first two legs pretty easy and could have swum faster.

My bike....I took it easy as it was my first tri and I wanted to have fun and check it out!

Event comments:

Had a blast! It was a great first tri. It was cold and windy, but that made it more of an adventure. Can't wait to be more competetive at the next one!
