Got up waty too early. Had bagel and banana. Drove to race.

Comments:

Ran with a good steady pace. Just when I was starting to slow a couple of womwn past me going just a aliitle faster which was just about perfect, so up through mile 12 I had my own personal PB. Definitely helped and probably took off at least a few minutes off my time. Run through Lambeau Field was great, lapped the playing field, high fiving the spectators in the stands.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, ran faster than I thought I could. Had only a vauge hope of breaking 10 min miles, and did that with room to spare.

Walked, streched, eat, drink, be merry.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Only been running for 6 months.

Event comments:

Great race, lots of fun, ALMOST made me believe I like running.
Good expo the day before.
Finishing party includes free beer and brat, with a good live band for entertainment.

Course: Mostly flat, some hills near in miles 10 and 11. Much of it shadey residential asphault. Mile 13 includes a run through Lambeau Field. Water/Gatorade about every mile, GU at mile 7
