Comments: I ran a 5-mile race (PR time) the previous day. My legs were feeling it a bit. But, not enough to not race. While I ran at a comfortable pace, I was surprised and humbled to see I finished last in my age group. Typically, I finish around mid-point of my AG. Need to kick it up a notch.:) What would you do differently?: Not run a race the previous day Post race
Warm down: Some light stretching, ate a couple cookies with the Muscle Milk they were handing out. What limited your ability to perform faster: Legs were slightly tired from previous day's race. Got up. Eat a bowl of Life cereal with Lactaid milk. One banana and a 12oz glass of water. Drove to race
Stretching including my back and shoulders. Found that helps during my run.
