Comments: could have run faster but with not having the race prep like I would have wanted due to illness...I focused on keeping a sold pace and feeling strong. Legs cooperated and faired well! fully took advantage of the down hills :) Took three gu packs throughout the race, which I probably could have used one more gu. What would you do differently?: push harder. Post race
Warm down: stretch, BEER, and lots of food! What limited your ability to perform faster: fear of hitting a wall and pushing legs too much Event comments: Loved the race...very fun!! cliff bar, banana, water, and 1/2 cup of coffee 3 hours before race. arrived in time to stretch and bathroom (yes, important).
pleanty of time to mentally get ready! Very cold and flurries in the air...ugh!
