Swim
Comments: It was a great swim, I did not push this hard and all and had a comfortable swim and good navigation. Hung on the front group for the first 600 the drop off a bit. What would you do differently?: I might push just a little more. I am a better swimmer than I think I am. Transition 1
Comments: We have a 200 meter run in the mud to get to tranistion. It was calcuated into the swim time. Suit zipper got stuck and I had the swimmer behind me say keep running and he got it unstuck for me and we ran up to transition. I wish I could thank him again. That is a triathlete, I hope to return the favor someday. Smooth and fast transition overall. What would you do differently?: Nothing. I was in a good place to get started on the bike. Bike
Comments: It was a good bike and I was riding faster than planned but nutrition held up and the aid stations were unbelievablly effecient. What would you do differently?: maybe ride a little harder. no complaints. Transition 2
Comments: Super fast transition. overall 7th fastest. What would you do differently?: Nothing, I mean it. Run
Comments: Good run for me I stayed really strong through the first 8 miles. faded abit from 8 to 10 and ran hard from 10 to 12. and finished hard for the finish. What would you do differently?: Add a little more nutrition to the second part of the run. Post race
Warm down: Stretch and lots of walking around. More stretching. What limited your ability to perform faster: maybe alittle more running. Event comments: This was the best hosted race I have ever seen. They had kid games and mini duathlon for them. great seating and even gave our support staff drinks and snacks. Lots of aid stations. and I saw a few volunteers sprint down runners to give them water if too many people came through. That is amazing. Our team is making this a every year event. Thank you Redman staff and Volunteers. Last updated: 2011-03-27 12:00 AM

Set bike up the night before. It had a secured transition. Ate pasta the night before. Terrible time at the hotel, we got there and had 4 of our 5 rooms not ready and ours we did not have a bed. No other hotel in the area had any open rooms. We finally got it worked out and got to bed about 11:30.
Up at 5 ate breakfast and made it to the event. Checked off transition area again. Ran a short distance and did my active stretch warm up.
