Comments: Just installed new shifters/brakes and the cables stretched a lot. The gears were all over the place. I was really hurting on the hills, though. I'm going to have to start incorporating tempo/interval/hill type stuff into the training and maybe some weights to get beefed up for those types of climbs. What would you do differently?: Have the bike set up well in advance. Learn to ride hills. Post race
