Comments: Swam all at the same pace throughout and felt reasonably comfortable. Swimming is my weakest leg so was happy with this time. What would you do differently?: Remember to pack my goggles but luckily my wife got them to me about 1 minute before the wave start. Transition 1
Comments: Quite a long transition run to start the bike. What would you do differently?: Everything was fine except for putting on my helmet before my shirt but I don't think those 4 seconds cost me much :) Bike
Comments: First time I've ever been able to average over 30km's per hour in a race. New bike plus commuting 50kms every day is paying off! What would you do differently?: Write down the numbers of the guys who were drafting :( Transition 2
Comments: Still struggling with the leg swing with the water bottles behind the seat. Have to work out what is the best way to do this. Run
Comments: Plan was to take it easy because of concerns about a hamstring. Had a bad stitch at the start which was probably due to eating too much before the race. What would you do differently?: Eat less and don't hurt my leg before races! Post race
Warm down: Ate a huge hamburger after walking/riding the bike back to the carpark :) What limited your ability to perform faster: Need to do more running and hopefully the leg is ok now.
