Comments: Really wanted to break the magic 2 hr marker. Been within 2 min and change before but never gotten there. Was well ahead of pace at 10k(54min), so just thought i need to run 6min/kms to break it. I hit around 16k and for the first time I thought i about walking. i knew I was about 5 minutes ahead of 2hr pace- which was my inital goal. But I was proud of myself that I shook that feeling off, and continued to run hard. At the finish I was DONE. Which was a great feeling. What would you do differently?: N/A Post race
Warm down: saw michelle and the girls. Had a quick bite to eat, then took the girls swimming. Nice relaxing cool down. :) What limited your ability to perform faster: gut Event comments: Nice small town race. Very few participants in the 1/2, but the 5k and 10k had quite a few.
