Swam freestyle most of the way. Sighting was pretty good. Sun was in eyes to buoy #2. Only saw it when 10 feet away.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Needed the energy gels for the bike. That was enough to make me a bit worn out. Sun took more of a toll then I realized.
