  • 457 meters
  • 01m 51s / 100 meters
What would you do differently?:

Learn to swim.
Transition 1
  • 01m 38s
Comments:

Time includes run to T1
What would you do differently?:

nothing
Bike
  • 40m 25s
  • 15 miles
  • 22.27 mile/hr
Comments:

Pushed hard like I was doing a time trial. Plan was to leave nothing in the tank to see how the run turns out.

My bike said 15.49 miles and that would of been 23 MPH Ave. HR jumped right up to around 167 at the beginning of the bike so I lowered my HR by a few beats since I know I would be paying for it later. I pushed so hard my legs where feeling like rubber and it made me think I had a flat. Tires looked good and I was still doing 22+MPH so I kept pushing on. I passed a LOT people on the bike and only had one person pass me at the very end.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, great bike
Transition 2
  • 00m 38s
Comments:

T2 went good other then I slammed my bike on the rack and it bounced off the bar and fell onto the ground. Had to pick it back up and put it on the bar again.
What would you do differently?:

nothing
Run
  • 23m 54s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 07m 41s  min/mile
Comments:

When I got off the bike I only seen around 7 bikes back in at T2. Well I was shooting for top 10 over all. Well plan changed very quickly. About .25 in two guys went flying past me. A few more before the turnaround and a then a bunch with about 1 mile to go. They looked like little skinny CC runners just waiting to put a spanking on someone.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing. I just need to improve my running.
Post race
Warm down:

Cheering many friends in that where also doing the race.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Just need more training.

Event comments:

The only real issues I see with this race is the lack of bike racks and them setting up the racks so late people are waiting for them to put them together.
