I wish I could have a band every block to entertain me on all my runs.

There was a group of runners dressed as Vikings, and they were having a party at every band - running around, jumping up and down. I imagine they added to their distance, time, and fatigue quite a bit!

This race wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I'm not in the shape I used to be. PB on this course is 1:07, but I was expecting to do more like 1:25. So I am happy with my 1:14! (Though it would have been nice to beat 12 min mile!)
What would you do differently?:

train more and harder...

a full time job and a toddler!

Event comments:

This is a very entertaining run! Love the bands! Love the costumes. My wave actually started early (!) which made my family miss my finish.
