Swim
Comments: Although my time was good it was my nightmare swim. I went out way too fast. I got pummeled by others the entire race. My spotting was awful. My goggles kept fogging so badly I did half the race with them on my forehead. The last quarter of the race was about the only good part. What would you do differently?: Get in the water sooner for a warmup. Use anti-fog for the goggles. Slow down and especially spot better. I probably swam and extra quarter of a mile. Post race
Warm down: Ate a bagel, banana and a kind bar. What limited your ability to perform faster: Spotting and goggle fog. Event comments: Race was well run but the food and swag were lacking. Last updated: 2011-04-05 12:00 AM
