Swim
Comments: Just glad I did not drown What would you do differently?: Practice swimming before entering another race. Transition 1
Comments: Transition was long and I was not sure how to handle my body now having to deal with no longer being weightless What would you do differently?: Bring towel, running shoes for trek from water to bike Bike
Comments: Was not sure what to expect and ended up feeling great. I pushed hard without over doing it and was never winded. What would you do differently?: Work my shifting gears more efficiently Transition 2
Comments: Transition was gravel so there was no bare feet happening. I wore my running shoes inside my toe clips so I did not have much down time in transition What would you do differently?: Get proper riding gear in relation to shoes Run
Comments: Nursing strained Achilles Heal for 2 mos prior and was not going to spend the rest of the summer laid up. Ran well within myself. Glad there was not time stoppage for the slow but determined. What would you do differently?: Try to be injury free so I can really test myself Post race
Warm down: Enjoyed water, granola, and my children who came to see my finish. We stayed at the lake for the remainder of the day. What limited your ability to perform faster: Strained Achilles Heal Event comments: I had lots of fun and will return this year. Last updated: 2006-03-30 12:00 AM
