Pre-race routine:

Up early, toast w/jelly for breakfast and 1 Power Gel about 20 min before the start.

Great swim for me. I navigated everything well and stayed on course. Stood up and started running out of the water too early, it was still deep enough to swim, so I dove back in and swam farther. Actually passed a guy walking out while I was swimming.

Keep swimming.

Meh. It was OK. Still haven't gone sockless so that slows me down. I did roll them up which made them easier to put on wet feet, just rolled them on.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not much, pretty satisfied with the results! 2nd overall male and 1st in AG is great.

Event comments:

Great race once again. It was my first ever tri last year so I had to do it again. It's local and so well put together there's really no reason to not continue racing it.
