Woke up and drove over to the site

talked a lot to people I haven't seen in a while. Ran to bathroom. Did crazy stretches trying to get wetsuit on.

Felt tight in wetsuit. Arms were heavy but went well based on the lack of swim training I have been doing.

Had a good ride overall. I think I took off a couple of miles where I zoned out and wasn't focused on pushing. Need to work on staying on top of my effort a little better.

calf cramped trying to get right shoe on. Wasted probably 10-15 seconds trying to get heel in while bobbing up and down trying to work it out.

Felt good. Felt stronger as run went on. Just started running again about 5 weeks ago and was going to be happy with 7:30s so I was very satisfied.

ran with Norman Nolan for a mile or so to catch up and cool down.

I absolutely love these races. Very happy for first race of year. Need to work on some speed now somehow.
