Pre-race routine:

Packed stuff night before. Got up at 5 AM. One cup of coffee. Smoothie made of big can of pineapple, a banana and a heaping tablespoon of peanut butter.

Biked leisurely to race around 6:10 AM.
Event warmup:

None really. Transition closed at 7:00 AM, but my wave didn't go off until 8:51 AM. Talked to friends, had more coffee, went to the porta potty three times.

Not wearing socks on bike helped. So did a tri suit.

Bike rank is screwed up because of missing bike data on a bunch of other racers. My guess is 9th for age group. Don't know overall. Right now official rank is 79th, but that is too high due to missing data.
What would you do differently?:

Bike. I didn't bike all summer. I am thrilled with this performance given that.
