Pre-race routine:

Up 2 1/2 hours before race time. Breakfast was oatmeal and a 1/2 banana.

Comments:

This was a personal best for me! My overall pace has never been below 9:00/ miles, so his was pretty exciting. I felt pretty strong and confident most of the run.
What would you do differently?:

Hydrate better before the race.
Post race
Warm down:

Quick walk to my car. I had to get ready for a black tie event in the evening.


What limited your ability to perform faster:

Nothing.

Event comments:

This was a real confidence builder for me. I want to run a 2 hour 1/2 Mary in my HIM, and the faster I get the more confident I am that can happen.
