Comments: Swim felt good. Nice and steady pace. Knocked 1:03 off the last race. What would you do differently?: Swim is improving more everyday but I probably could have pushed a little harder. Transition 1
Comments: T1 was pretty smooth. What would you do differently?: Try to leave my shoes clipped on the bike and possibly try noy wearing socks. Putting on socks and shoes added at least 20 sec Bike
Comments: Bike felt good. Passed a couple of people and was only passed a few times. Knocked 3:53 off my first race time. What would you do differently?: Try a push a little harder on the way back in Transition 2
Comments: Very smooth What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: Run is still a huge struggle. What would you do differently?: Train harder on the run. Work on a more endurance. Post race
Warm down: Drank some water and hung out with the family. Got in the pond to cool down and swam about 100 yds. What limited your ability to perform faster: My run is a huge negative for me right now. Event comments: This is a 5 race sries over the summer , so I can judge my progress during my first year of tris. I knocked 10:08 off my time from the first race on May 22. Woke up at 4:30 and got a quick shower. Packed up the family and out the door by 5:15. Nothing like three giggling little girls to relax you for the race. It certainly was a nice father's day present.
Stretched and swam about 200 yds
