Comments:

Could have gone harder, but it was my first 1/2 marathon so I just wanted to make sure I finished. 1st goal was to finish....check...2nd goal was to finish in 2:20.....I'm going with check...1 porta potty stop at mile 5 or 6 and had to wait. A little more training and a couple more races and the goal will be under 2:00. Sport beans (couple) at mile 6 and 10.

Warm down:

walking, and trying to thaw in the car

What limited your ability to perform faster:

lack of experience in running the distance. I only had one long training run of 12 miles. A lot going on personally so I couldn't do all the long runs so more training and I should know my pace a little bit better

Event comments:

Great race and plenty of AWESOME volunteers. It was my first half marathon and, in spite of the bad weather, an amazing experience. Turns were clearly marked with volunteers and plenty of water stations. Post race goodies were also great.
