Comments: First time swimming in a wetsuit on open water. Took some getting used to especially with the choppy water. Found a good rhythm about halfway through and made it to the finish. What would you do differently?: Focus on each stroke instead of worrying about getting kicked in the face. Transition 1
Comments: Could not get the wetsuit off. This took forever. Finally got it off after 5 mins of frustration; ate some direct fuel bites; unracked the bike then ran to the mount point. What would you do differently?: Learn how to take a wet suit off quickly Bike
Comments: Terrible bike. I borrowed this from my girlfriend's brother. Only trained on the bike for one day totaling 4 miles prior to the race. Ride was extremely painful with about 6 miles left; thought I tore my left hamstring. Not used to sitting on a bike seat for that long. What would you do differently?: Get fitted for a proper bike; train more. Transition 2
Comments: Already had my running shoes on while riding the bike. Ate 2 more direct fuel bites; grabbed the water bottle; racked the bike then ran out. What would you do differently?: Nothing; easy transition Run

Warm down: Stretch; Recovery drink What limited your ability to perform faster: Training on the bike Event comments: First triathlon so I don't have anything to compare it to.
