Pre-race routine:

Not much. Really irritated my back earlier in the week, so debated if I should even do the race since it was a "C" race.
Event warmup:

Light jog that ended bad. My bike really spasmed and I almost didn't race. Very light stretch

Went out faster than I thought I would. Surprisingly, as soon as I started, my back felt great; best it had all week. Ran pretty even with Sam throughout the first 5k. Saw Elizabeth, Wolfe's, and the boys at 2 mi. mark and waved. Gut ache toward the end, but not a real problem.
What would you do differently?:

Not much. Maybe held back a little more.

Overall felt good about bike. Bike just tweaked a little, but went away. Effort was on and hills went well, especially since my rear derailler was a little off. Sam and I went back and forth. I had a moment when I was getting tired by Freidrick's Garage, but went away with nutrition. My spare tube came out near town, and got caught in rear brake when I tried to throw it off. Had to stop and lost a 1 min or so.
What would you do differently?:

Would have have had spare tube better secured.

This second one was harder. Took a while for legs to come around. Caught Sam at mile 1. Basically, just held on to the finish.

Not much. Again, take first 5k easier
