Comments: There was a VERY steep hill up to T1. I was not ready for this, and was winded going up it. I never caught my breath.. What would you do differently?: I guess practice hills more, or choose a flatter event. Bike
Comments: Hills! Was not ready for the hills. Overall I had a solid bike. again I passed several people, however I was SLOW going up the hills. The broken wheel did not help. I ended up walking the last hill because my brakes were rubbing so bad. What would you do differently?: Train on hills.. Transition 2

Comments: DISASTER.. I ended up walking more than half I had no legs for the hills. The only flat part of the course was the swim.... What would you do differently?: I'm a brand new runner, but was disappointed in my performance. I can and will do better Post race
Warm down: Jumped in cool lake and sat there like a walrus for a while. What limited your ability to perform faster: Hills... Event comments: I really had fun! I thought the hills were too steep for beginner event and did not match the description of "Rolling Hills" Several people were walking the bike and the run. With that said, I had a FANTASTIC feeling when I finished! I achieved a goal, and even though I struggled a lot I met my time goals for the race. Got there early, had a little panic when they called for everyone down to the water and My friend hadn't arrived yet with my race packet (She picked it up a day earlier for me).
Brief swim, not really enough.
