Swim
Comments: Got so lost an official asked if I wanted to keep swimming. I asked her "Where am I??" What would you do differently?: Sight better, sight more often, breathe less, especially towards end. Transition 1
Comments: 4/7 age group; 24/42 overall. What would you do differently?: Don't need to wipe feet. Need uniform! Bike
Comments: Though I was going harder than 15.5 mph...oh well. Such a flat course. What would you do differently?: Not much...Drink more? Transition 2
What would you do differently?: Don't clip out so early, maybe even just unvelcro shoes Run
Comments: HURT HURT HURT. Ouch. I never got my running legs. Each step was painful. What would you do differently?: More bricks to get running legs back, get come calories in the race, HYDRATE! Post race
Warm down: Uhh...crying with happiness/pain and hugging my boyfriend? What limited your ability to perform faster: The run ate me for breakfast. Getting lost swimming didn't help either. Still wondering why the bike was slow, I really fel like I pushed hard. Event comments: Decent for a first triathlon. Once I got in the water, it wasn't so scary. Overall, fun flat race, especially with 16 awesome, supportive teammates. We Are...Penn State! Last updated: 2006-04-03 12:00 AM
