Comments: Good ride What would you do differently?: Make sure my tires are properly inflated before the race. Tried to get air at a Quick Trip along the way and only made the matter worse. Once I found a support truck to get air my rear was only 15 lbs and the front had 30 they're supposed to be at 100 psi. Made the last 3rd of the ride much easier. Transition 2
Run
Comments: I just couldn't run today, didn't have enough left in the legs. What would you do differently?: I need to make sure I eat on the bike so that I have something left in the tank for the run. Additionally, I need to learn to like running more, this is by far my weakest event. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of discipline in my training routine and not eating properly before or during the race. Event comments: This is a good race and I'm looking forward to running it again in Oct. The bike will be longer then because the road construction that shortened it this time should be complete.
