Comments: I didn't go nearly as fast as I wanted to. My legs tuckered out pretty early on; I still felt good riding though. What would you do differently?: Ride faster. Wish I would have trained just a bit more in the weeks following up. Transition 2
Run
Comments: I had to stop and pee at one point, that prbobaly added at least 30 seconds. I was on cruise control for the rest, just wanted to finish at this point. What would you do differently?: Not much. If I had a watch I might have pushed myself a little more, but the next girl in front of me was so far ahead and the person behind was far behind so I didn't have much motivation/reason to try much harder except for a personal time. Warm down: Ran a little further to let my heart rate come down. Took pics with the fam, ate half a banana, then went out for breakfast in Morrison. Could hardly eat though! No appetite. What limited your ability to perform faster: The cold, a little. 2 scrambled eggs w/ cheese and a small bowl of oatmeal. Woke up at 5:45, race at 8:00. Got there around 6:45.
It was freezing so I just ran around for a bit with a couple of strides. Swim was cancelled so I didn't want to run too hard.
